Biogas is produced through an anaerobic digestion process, which is the fermentation in the absence of oxygen and at a controlled temperature of biomass.<\/p><p>The purpose of Agribioenergia was to build a plant for the digestion of various organic matrices such as corn, sorghum, cattle slurry, and by-products of agro-industrial processing to obtain biogas and thus <strong>renewable electric and thermal energy<\/strong>.<\/p><p>To date we feed it by:<\/p><p><strong>70%<\/strong> with animal and vegetable agro-industrial by-products<br \/><strong>30%<\/strong> from dedicated crops (corn and sorghum)<br \/>The production process also generates another by-product, <strong>digestate<\/strong>.<\/p><p>During the fermentation cycle, which can last from 120 to 180 days, the biomass undergoes a number of transformations, including the extraction of methane and the mineralization of nutrients such as nitrogen phosphorus and potassium thus making them directly assimilable by plants, becoming an <strong>excellent all-organic fertilizer<\/strong>. In this process, the matrices are stabilized, completely eliminating any bad odors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element of secondary raw materials into electrical and thermal energy WITHOUT EMISSIONS INTO THE AIR AND WITHOUT WASTE
